Lytag Lightweight Concrete
Lytag concrete is developed by using a lighter aggregate that results in a more lightweight concrete mix. Despite being a lightweight concrete mix, it still maintains the durability and strength of our other concrete mixes. Lytag lightweight concrete can be found in some of Britain’s most iconic architectural buildings, including the historic Canterbury Cathedral and London’s world-famous Shard – showing its versatility.
Usually, Lytag concrete results in a 30% lighter mix than your average concrete, meaning the size and depth of a building’s foundations can be reduced – making it easier to build multiple floors in a property.
All of the Lytag lightweight concrete that we supply is BSI Kitemark and ISO 9001 approved, so your project receives a quality, fully compliant product.
