Types of Standard Concrete

Our ST concrete mixes come in a range of classifications, with each variation appropriate for different types of work. These include:

• ST1 – Suitable for non-structural work such as kerb bedding, drainage work and blinding
• ST2 – Common in the construction industry for a variety of reasons and is used for patio foundations, drainage work, trench filling and extensions
• ST3 – Used for both domestic and commercial projects such as patios, garages and bases for houses and extensions
• ST4 – This type is extremely strong but not appropriate for non-reinforced applications. It can be used on internal floor slabs, shed bases, drainage and septic tank foundations
